DIY Dinner Party. Tuna with Wasabi Mash and Arugula.
It’s pretty hard to screw this up. So easy to prepare and the finished product looks impressive. The wasabi mash goes well with the tuna and the sauce pulls it all together. Don’t forget to serve with Sake.
Sauce (Can be drizzled on top or use as a marinade)
1/4 cup of soy sauce
2 teaspoons of fresh minced ginger
1 tablespoon of sesame oil
Make the mashed potatoes with plenty of butter and salt. Add wasabi to taste. Make a bed of arugula on each plate. Sear the Tuna on the grill or in a pan on high for about a minute and a half per side (for rare). Put a serving of mash on top of the greens then place the tuna on top. Drizzle with soy ginger sauce.
