French Hangover Toast
More than once I’ve found myself tipsy in the kitchen late night, wondering what to do with the leftover bread from dinner. Just in case you’ve had the same problem here’s a rather nifty solution that takes a few minutes to make just before you hit the sack.
Leftover bread torn up
8 whole Eggs
2 cups Whole Milk
¾ cups Sugar
2 tbs Vanilla Extract
Throw all of this in a baking dish and pop in the fridge.
When you wake up preheat oven to 350 and mix the following in a zip lock until crumbly....
½ cups Brown Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoons Salt
1 stick Cold Butter, Cut Into Pieces
Sprinkle on top of soaked bread and put in oven. Go back to bed for 45 minutes. Serve with coffee and Excedrin.
