Sexy Saffron Thighs
So it’s a Tuesday night. Uninspired, I’m trying to figure out how to flavor some very raw, gross looking, chicken thighs. I find some saffron and google ‘saffron chicken’. Up comes a random Moroccan recipe. (thanks Christine Benlafquih)
I throw whatever I have on hand (which is barely half of the recipe) into a zip lock bag and give it a mush. WELL. Let me tell you! I am tempted to open a bottle of wine and throw on a dress. This is one TASTY dish if I do say so. And piss easy!
Chicken or whatever meat you have in the fridge. I used boneless thighs
1 tb fresh shaved ginger
1 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp black pepper
A shake of cinnamon
1 tsp saffron threads, crumbled
1 tsp turmeric
Salt
I chopped up some bell peppers to act as a bed to stop them from stewing, then throw on the chicken for 40 min at 425.
