Like good old fashioned corks in wine bottles there is something oddly romantic about a cast iron seasoned skillet. The weight alone gives it authority in the kitchen and the constant seasoning can’t help but tell a story.
You can cook anything in them. They go right in the oven. AND they are naturally non stick once seasoned well. For skillet lovers like myself protecting them from dishwashers and soap can become an obsession. I love mine. She sits on the stove top for safe keeping.
